Novafert attended the ManuREsource conference on the 21st of March in Antwerp, Belgium. First, the ESNI working group on Sustainability assessment coordinated by Novafert was represented by Jorge Senán Salinas at the round table discussion at the conference.
Later that day, Novafert and our sister project FER-PLAY EU also hosted an engaging session on “Regulatory barriers and incentives for manure-based circular fertilisers”. We delved into insightful discussions covering a range of topics:
– Presentations of Novafert and FER-PLAY EU – Faculty of Bioscience Engineering UGent and Inagro vzw
– Nitrates Directive – Erik Meers
– Various regulatory incentives for manure-based circular fertilisers – Lucile Sever
The session included 38 attendees, making it a great success! The visit to the Manuresource conference proved to be of great value for the project.
